Terms of Use
Last updated: January 2026
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Apex Office Clean website and our cleaning services. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our site or services. We believe in being straightforward, so we've written these terms in plain English rather than legal jargon.
Website Terms
The content on this website — text, images, pricing information, and everything else — is provided for informational purposes. We try to keep everything accurate and up to date, but we can't guarantee that every detail is perfect at all times. If you spot something that looks wrong, let us know and we'll fix it.
You may use the content on this site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or republish content from this site without our written permission. If you want to link to our site, go ahead — we appreciate it.
The contact form on our site is for legitimate quote requests and inquiries. Don't use it to send spam, marketing solicitations, or anything illegal. We reserve the right to ignore or block submissions that abuse the form.
Service Terms
When you engage Apex Office Clean for cleaning services, these terms apply:
Scope of Work
We agree to perform the cleaning services described in your signed proposal. The proposal is the authoritative document that defines what we'll do, how often, and at what price. If you want to change the scope of work, let us know and we'll update the proposal accordingly.
We don't perform services that aren't listed in the proposal unless specifically agreed to in writing. If you ask our crew to do something extra while they're on site, they may decline if it's not in the scope. This isn't because we're difficult — it's because we want clear expectations on both sides.
Your Responsibilities
You agree to provide the following:
- Access to the premises — keys, codes, or other means for our crew to enter and work during the agreed-upon times
- Working utilities — electricity, running water, and functioning restrooms for our crew to use
- Safe working conditions — a work environment free from hazards that could injure our staff
- Reasonable notice of any changes to access procedures, security protocols, or building rules
If your building has specific security requirements — sign-in procedures, escort policies, after-hours access rules — it's your responsibility to inform us and facilitate compliance.
Cancellation Policy
For one-time cleaning services, we require 48 hours' notice for cancellation. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice incur a 50% fee. If our crew arrives at your building and cannot gain access, the full visit fee applies.
For recurring services, we require 30 days' written notice to cancel. This allows us to adjust crew schedules and replace the work in our route. We don't hide behind long-term contracts, but we do need reasonable notice to wind down service properly.
For the complete cancellation policy, please see our Cancellation Policy page.
Payment Terms
We bill weekly or monthly, as agreed in your proposal. Payment is due Net 15 from the invoice date. We accept checks, ACH transfers, and credit cards. Credit card payments carry a 3% processing fee.
Late payments (more than 30 days past due) incur a 1.5% monthly service charge. We don't enjoy charging this, but it's necessary to encourage timely payment. If you're experiencing cash flow issues, contact us before the invoice is due — we're reasonable people and will work with you.
Insurance and Liability
Apex Office Clean LLC carries General Liability Insurance with a coverage limit of $1,000,000 per occurrence. This covers property damage caused by our staff in the course of performing cleaning services. If we break something, we're insured for it.
We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage to your property
- Damage caused by defective building materials or fixtures
- Loss of business income or consequential damages
- Damage to items of extraordinary value (art, antiques, specialized equipment) unless specifically disclosed and agreed upon in writing
- Damage caused by failure to provide safe working conditions
If you believe we've caused damage, notify us within 48 hours of the incident. We'll investigate promptly and file a claim with our insurance carrier if appropriate.
Workers' Compensation
We carry Workers' Compensation insurance in compliance with Texas requirements. If a member of our crew is injured while working on your premises, they're covered by our policy. You won't be held liable for workplace injuries to our employees.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apex Office Clean's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by Texas law and survives any termination of our service agreement.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use and any disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising from these terms shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. For active clients, material changes to service terms will be communicated directly via email or in writing.
